Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

Well, 21st July 2007 is the launch of the final Harry Potter book. I went to Kinokuniya at 5am in the morning, in the hopes of being the first 13 to get a free book. Unfortunately, after parking my car in the carpark, the doors to the escalators were still locked, so I actually went up to the Park entrance, where I saw there were already tons of people going up the stairs towards the 3rd floor.

By the time I reach the 3rd floor, there were like hundreds in front of me. Sigh..... no luck at all.... Just look at all the people ! My colleague was also way in front of me. She came with her hubby. I took my HP Book 6 to read while waiting, just to refresh my memory on what happened previously.

Kinokuniya setup the main entrance like the Gryffindor entrance, where they placed a "Fat Lady" and you had to give her the password to "enter" the store. Kind of fun and nice... The mall also had the Harry Potter theme song repeating. By the time I reach the entrance, it was already like 7:40am in the morning.

I asked one of Kinokuniya's staff to use my K750i to take a photo of me and the "Fat Lady" but the stupid idiot didn't press the button properly, so my photo was not taken at all ! Stupid ass**** !!!!!! And I was so eager to get the book that I didn't check my phone to ensure the photo was taken. AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH !

Anyway, I finally got the book. And I also drove to Carrefour in Sri Petaling to buy another copy, which was RM69.90 only, even cheaper than my copy which cost RM77 because of a 30% discount given. The copy from Carrefour was given to my nieces.

I went home, read 2 chapters and fell asleep, I was soooo tired ! However, after reading and falling asleep a few times, I finally finished the book at 2am in the morning. JK Rowling did a pretty good job on the book, and there were so many deaths. I would have preferred Harry to die though........ he was getting annoying. Hehe....
