Growing Up
My "fatt choy" tree is growing nicely. Now, the new shoot is even taller than the older one ! Bring me luck.... bring me luck........

My Ferraris !
From 3rd May 2007 until 2nd July 2007, Shell Malaysia is offering a Ferrari model with every RM40 worth of Shell petrol, purchased at either RM3.99 (with V-Power Racing) or RM7.99 (Shell Super). And altogether there are 6 models.
My kucilek Kancil can only hold a MAXIMUM of RM40 full tank, that also the tank have to be reaaaaalllly almost empty, otherwise it will stop around RM37 or R38. So in order for me to collect all 6 Ferrari models, it will probably take me around 6 - 8 weeks, coupled with having to risk running out of petrol in order to be able to fill up RM40 ! Luckily, I have family members (my sis and bro-in-law) who have cars that consume lotsa petrol and have a big petrol tank.
So, within 4 days, I actually got all 6 models. Hahahahahahaha........ And here they are....
WARNING : DO NOT DROOL, DO NOT THINK YOU CAN STEAL THEM.

Looks Like I've Got Greenfingers After All ......
During CNY 2007, I brought a small pot of plant to my office. It's a "get-rich-tree" (fatt choy shue). Well, after some time, I noticed that the back of the leaves had some black spots. I asked Mom and she said that probably the plant is having some sort of disease, and may die soon. Well, I decided to let it determine whether it wants to live or die.
Anyway, as adviced, I only water it like once a week or in five days, depending on my mood. Sometimes I put in a lot of water, until the holding plate is full, other times I only pour some into the soil.
But then, few days back, I saw a new shoot growing from the middle, and yesterday, leaves started coming out. Hahaha...... so today I took some photos of it. Hopefully, like its namesake, it will make its owner "FATT", not "FAT" ! Hehehehe.......

Lazing & grazing
These past two days, I've been doing practically nothing except watching tv and sleeping. A perfect waste of a holiday when I should have been working on my thesis. Yes Ange, I will start it.... soon. Sigh..... no motivation to work on it at all. Sigh....
And when I wanted to login to Blogger just now, it went all Japanese on me ! Didn't know what to do at all ! Luckily, I checked around the site, saw a link for language and went in ! Changed the settings back to English, so now I can "understand" what it says ! Sheeeesh.... duno why the setting suddenly switched to Japanese ! Must be coz I was reading Ange's blog. ALL HER FAULT !
I should have been happily munching on snacks and all sorts of fried things these two days, but unfortunately, a sore throat is preventing me from doing that. Like I said, what a waste of a holiday !
Anway, tomorrow it's back to the grinding stone. Tons of work, nothing done yet. Sigh......... And last month was pretty bad too, what with my PC going psycho on me and losing my sunglasses ! Sob sob sob ......................
