Annual Dinner 2007

My company held its Annual Dinner for 2007 at Menara Yayasan Tun Razak on 15th June 2007. It was a nice dinner, and much more enjoyable as compared with the previous year, as the MC this year (Dee) made the event much more lively and enjoyable. Main thing is, at least we can catch the jokes !

This was the backdrop for our Annual Dinner. Makes you think of Halloween Theme right ? Well, actually, our theme was Tales & Fantasies ! Vast difference huh ? The Annual Dinner had a great opening show. Bit blurr here....

My whole office participated in the Staff Variety Show. All 10 of us (including my boss) had a role to play. We did a sketch on "Legend Of The Moon Festival". Aside from the hiccups from the lousy sound system, I think we did a pretty good job, even though at times we forgot our script ! Hehe.... Here is a group photo taken where we were all in costumes. Nice ? Ms. Flinstone is not in the play, but she was our Props Master and Make Up Artist.

Guess what ? We won 3rd prize ! Yeah.... we got RM500 for our effort ! Even though during the process there were the normal bickerings and such, in the end, we came together and did our best. Here are some other photos of my other colleagues who came in great costumes that day.

And this year, I had a great surprise. I, who usually goes home empty handed, actually won a lucky draw ! And to me, it was a great prize. The prize was RM500 Jusco Vouchers. Hehe.... I can get what I like from Jusco ! Hahahahahah..........

This year I really enjoyed myself, having won the lucky draw and also because our group won 3rd prize in the Staff Variety Show. My colleague is already thinking about next year's show !

Mutant Lychee

Last week, I was enjoying some nice lychees when I saw this weird-shaped lychee. So, I took some photos of it, as compared with a normal lychee. Actually, it's a "twin", but the 2nd lychee didn't get to grow normally, so it just grows like a siamese twin in the 1st lychee. Weird leh...

Not only is the mutant lychee about twice the size of a normal one, it is also lopsided. When I peeled the lychee and ate it, there were 2 seeds inside, one small and one big.

Think I will turn into a mutant after eating the mutant lychee ?

Stick-To-The-Wall

As I was walking towards my car in the office carpark, I saw this !
The car was TOUCHING the wall ! I stared at it open-mouthed for about 1/2 a minute, then I decided that I need to put this in my blog. Must be company car lar.... otherwise where got anyone treat their cars like this ? The thing is, he or she actually left it like that without even thinking of moving it forward slightly.
